Granbury knows how to celebrate the 4th of July — and in 2026, we’re making it even bigger.

Red, White & Celebrate brings the community together for a full weekend of patriotic fun on the Historic Granbury Square. From local vendors and food trucks to family-friendly activities, parade-day excitement, VIP viewing zones, and fireworks lighting up the summer sky, this is the kind of celebration that feels like home.

Bring your family, invite your friends, wear your red, white, and blue, and help us honor 250 years of America right here in Granbury, Texas.

Vendors on the Square

Shop, snack, and stroll through Historic Granbury Square all weekend long. Enjoy local vendors, artisan goods, food, family fun, and festive finds from July 3–5.

Hometown Parade

Start Saturday, July 4, with one of Granbury’s favorite traditions — the hometown parade. The route will loop through the square, giving families, visitors, and locals a front-row view of the celebration.

VIP Parade Zones

New this year, guests can enjoy the parade from two VIP bleacher seating zones located along the route. Seating is limited and available by reservation.

Grand Fireworks Display

When the sun goes down Saturday evening, look to the sky for a grand fireworks display over the lake — the perfect finale to a day filled with patriotic celebration.

SATURDAY, JULY 4 | 9:00 AM Granbury’s Hometown Parade

There’s nothing quite like a hometown parade on the 4th of July.

On Saturday morning, Granbury’s parade will make its way along the traditional route, looping through Historic Granbury Square and filling the streets with patriotic floats, local organizations, community pride, and plenty of red, white, and blue.

Arrive early, bring your flags, and find your favorite spot along the route — or reserve VIP bleacher seating for an upgraded parade-day experience.

NEW THIS YEAR VIP Parade Bleacher Seating

Want a better view of the parade? This year’s celebration will include two VIP parade zones with bleacher seating along the route.

VIP seating gives families, groups, businesses, and guests a reserved place to enjoy the parade without the hassle of finding a spot early. Seats are available in limited quantities and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Vendors on the Square All Weekend Long

The Historic Granbury Square will be full of vendors throughout the Red, White & Celebrate weekend. Shop local goods, discover handmade items, enjoy food vendors, and take in the festive atmosphere from July 3–5. Whether you’re visiting before the parade, spending the afternoon downtown, or making a full weekend of it, the vendor experience is one of the best ways to enjoy Granbury’s small-town charm.

Kick off the weekend with a festive day of shopping, food, and fun on Historic Granbury Square. Browse vendor booths, visit local shops, and enjoy the start of America’s 250th birthday celebration.

Spend Independence Day on the square before and after the hometown parade. Enjoy food, shopping, family-friendly vendors, and a patriotic atmosphere all day long before the evening fireworks display.

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Wrap up the weekend with one more day of shopping and strolling through the square. It’s the perfect chance to revisit your favorite booths, grab a treat, and enjoy a slower Sunday in downtown Granbury.

When the day winds down and the sky gets dark, the celebration continues with a grand fireworks display over the lake.

Gather with family and friends, find your favorite viewing spot, and enjoy a star-spangled finale to Granbury’s Red, White & Celebrate weekend. It’s the perfect way to honor America’s 250th birthday and close out an unforgettable 4th of July in Granbury.
